Good, bad & ugly Although this page has little to do with the services that we offer but over the years we have spent so many hours toiling so quietly around town we just needed this outlet to get things off our chest!
Vancouver winter, good This photo was taken in the winter. The point being, Vancouver in the winter is just great. Sure it can be wet, grey and cool, but we can still do just about anything we want outside. Edmonton in February anyone?
Bad idea I have kept backyard chickens for years and a few other determined individuals have as well in Vancouver. Because we weren't suppose to, we kept a very low profile and were very considerate to our neighbours. I like chickens but so do rats, raccoons, flies and lice. Compost the droppings? Stinky. The whole thing is a bad idea.
And the ugly Showing a visitor recently our wonderful city they were delighted at how clean our streets were, flabbergasted at the cost of houses and puzzled at the neglect of so many properties. I didn't really have an answer. Maybe because I'm in the cleaning business I notice dirty, green, rotten buildings, garages and fences but please...
